Job Purpose:

To maintain standardization in the cabin services provided by Air Arabia across the assigned network. Monitors the on-board flight services provided ensuring, safety, conformity, compliance with quality standards, adherence to contracts and SLAs terms and conditions and to applicable regulatory requirements.

Key Result Responsibilities:

1. Evaluates the revenue of catering products, SLAs, and regulatory compliance.
2. Ensures catering products are in accordance with Air Arabia quality standard.
3. Oversees the standardized measures for the overall appearance of the flights: catering equipment, cabin interiors, carries regular checks and inspections to maintain services up to the agreed standards.
4. Interlocks with Cabin Appearance team to ensure that robust procedures are set in place to tackle and ensure faults/ feedback/ complaints / concerns are completed as per the SLA.
5. Partners with Line Manager to ensure necessary improvements and remedial solutions are applied to enhance performance; follows up on agreed decisions to ensure timely and effective implementation and reviews as appropriate.
6. Provides accurate, comprehensive reporting to management when and as needed.
7. Performs any additional responsibilities as advised by the line manager.

Daily tasks :


Conduct daily catering check and report discrepancies

Share the missing items for each flight

Analyze the onboard sales

Monitor the quality and quantity of meals loaded, review the matrix in weekly basis

Ensure a proper set up of crew trolleys load

Follow up directly with catering suppliers crew and pax claims, provide feedback and corrective action

Maintain proper stock of inflight services equipment including :

Catering carts

Containers

Drawers

Trays

Flasks

Buckets

Ice tongs

Headrest covers

Liquid soap

Airsickness bags

Safety cards

BOB & DF Menu

Coordinate with in-flight services supervisor to ensure trolleys return back to their initial base.



Qualifications (Academic, training, languages, etc.)


Diploma/Higher Secondary Certificate is acceptable for this role if combined with the necessary function related experience; a bachelor Degree in Travel/ Tourism or any stream is preferable.

Cost Control, Compliance, Budgeting and Quality Assurance certificates and trainings are an added value. 

Proficient in Microsoft Office, Advanced Excel is essential.

Good level in written and verbal communication skills, Technical reports writing, presentations, etc.

Good level in English and French Languages,

Hands on operations with high pressure and heavy work-load,

Developed skills in cost reduction

Mind-set, cost-oriented, skilled in analysing data, identifying pitfalls and recommending solutions
