Responsibilities/Tasks:
Responsibilities/Tasks:
We are seeking a skilled L2/L3 Protocol Developer with programming skills to join our team. Your main duties will be:
Design, develop, and implement networking protocols for L2 and L3 layers.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement features.
Write scalable, efficient, and reusable code.
Ensure code quality through code reviews and testing.
Troubleshoot and debug networking issues.
Participate in the design and development of new networking features and improvements.
Primary skills:
Strong ‘C’ programming skills
Experience in Linux networking.
Experience in L2 L3 Protocol Development.
Knowledge on L2/L3 stacks like Quagga, ZebOS, ISS (Aricent) etc.
Experience in Open standards (RnD) and Pure Development (not bug fixes)
Experience in writing scalable multi-threaded programs
Secondary Skills:
Good at packet processing logic.
Familiar with Openflow/Openstack/SDN.
Knowledge of OVS + DPDK.
Familiar with tunneling.
Familiarity with OVSDB or NetConf or REST API integration.
Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in L2/L3 Protocol Development with programming skills
Experience in working with large-scale network infrastructure
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
Relevant certification in networking (e.g. CCNA, CCNP)
