Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and creative individual to join our team as an Integrated Media Journalist / Cross-Media Reporter amp; Presenter Intern. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of journalism, reporting, and presenting across different media channels. The intern will work closely with our experienced team members to produce compelling content and develop valuable skills in multimedia storytelling.Responsibilities:
1. Research and gather information on a wide range of topics for digital articles, television segments, and live presentations.2. Assist in writing and editing content for digital platforms, including news articles, features, and multimedia pieces.
3. Shadow experienced reporters and presenters in the field and studio to learn about interview techniques, on-camera presence, and storytelling methods.4. Contribute ideas for story angles, segments, and show formats that appeal to our target audience.
5. Assist in the production of television segments and live events, including conducting interviews, setting up equipment, and coordinating logistics.6. Collaborate with the production team to develop scripts, talking points, and visual assets for television broadcasts and live presentations.
7. Monitor news and social media trends to identify potential story opportunities and stay informed about current events.8. Participate in brainstorming sessions and team meetings to generate creative ideas and provide input on content development strategies.
