SMART NEARSHORING SOLUTIONS -SNS is a new company specialized in the field of offshoring, in full development ,SNS continues to grow efficiently and safely in the field of call centers working with North American principals.
Currently employing about 20 agents, SNS plans to deploy two points of presence in addition to the headquarters to reach a certain number of agents by the end of the year.

Responsibilities:

• Fully support, configure, maintain and upgrade in-house servers
• Install and integrate new server hardware and applications
• Manage and maintain the call center IP telephony system
• Keep an eye out for needed updates
• Support and administer third-party applications
• Ensure network security and connectivity
• Monitor network performance and test for weaknesses
• Set up user accounts, permissions and passwords
• Resolve problems reported by end-user
• Define network policies and procedures
• Specify system requirements and design solutions
• Research and make recommendations on server system administration
• Ensures that security architecture for all platforms supported is in compliance with the corporate guidelines/standards.

Qualifications:

• A degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or a complimentary area such as Business Administration, with corresponding IT certifications
• Proven experience (at least 5 years of experience) in a System Administrator, Network administrator’s role
• Excellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of server infrastructure
• Experience with firewalls, Internet VPN’s remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution is desired
• Ability to set up and configure server hardware
• Familiarity with backup and recovery software and methodologies
• Experience with Fortinet, Cisco switches, firewall, IDS/IPS, Wireshark
• Working knowledge of virtualization, VMWare, or equivalent
• MCSE certification a plus
• CISSP, CCNA, or CCNP certification a plus
• Experience with PCI DSS and SOC2 compliance a plus
• Must be self-directed and able to work with minimum supervision
• Great at organizing, prioritizing and multitasking
• Being able to communicate in both English and French is considered a great asset
• Have a great team spirit!
